I'm not sure what 'strategy' there is to an item that doesn't do anything but radiate auras besides sticking close to the team while holding it.

But heroes with melee summons like chen and broodmother probably gain the greatest benefit to an individual hero.

Awhile ago, we are debating this item for Ursa of 1v1 & 5v5.

I say, getting vlads for ursa on 1v1 is imba. On the other hand, they say that it's more useful on 5v5.

Well, as for me, I don't get vlads for ursa on 5v5 just because your allies can buy that for you. I increase my dps instead.

You say that now, but before you couldn't let go of the fact that a carry must buy it, and that buying it for the team is not a viable option for a support hero at all. Also please keep your 1v1 arguments out of here, they're not even related to anything.

They're related to vlads, anything that related to vlads can be discuss here.

The bad news is, you're assuming that everyone knows everything about the DotA FAQs & that is sad to say a wrong intention.

Well anyways, we still have no new members to talk with, so we're making things consider.

    1) You made no sense with that DotA FAQ agrument
    2) DotA isn't balanced for a 1v1 game state, which is why you should not use this as a basis for your arguments, period.

Ontopic, why can Ring of Basilius be clicked to change from Heroes and Units to just Heroes but Vladmir's Offering doesn't get this fancy little addition?

thats because you don't need it... The only use for the hero only aura in basilious is for early game to prevent you from pushing and loosing your lane because of that. When you get vlads, you are at a point in the game where that doesnt matter anymore (you probably are trying to push towers and it helps you at that).

Stop talking about 1v1. Stop talking about 1v1. Stop talking about 1v1.

And your allies are probably squishier than you are. If you NEED the vlads, having someone carrying it who is going to die is probably a bad idea. If you don't need the vlads, it's a waste of money whoever buys it.
